Raven’s Ranch, where wild hearts find their way.

Raven’s Ranch exists to guide individuals and small groups back to themselves — uncovering the layers of life that have been buried, forgotten, or are simply ready to be refreshed. Through intentional partnership with horses and donkeys, we create space for the kind of honest, grounded growth that only happens when you slow down and listen. Here, your wild heart finds its way home.
-
We offer 1:1 and small group Equine Experiential Learning (EAL) sessions that are unmounted. Alongside our horses and donkeys, clients are invited into genuine relationship with themselves, moving through whatever they’re carrying with support, presence, and herd wisdom.

Because somewhere along the way, most of us wander far from our own wild heart.Raven’s Ranch was created from love, loss, and the unshakeable belief that animals — especially equines — see us more clearly than we see ourselves. Raven showed us that. Now Freya, Diego, and our donkeys carry that work forward.
This land holds something. We believe you will too.

Horses live in a state of constant awareness. Their survival depends on reading subtle changes in energy, posture, breath, and intention. Because of this sensitivity, horses naturally respond to the emotional and physiological states of the humans around them.
At Raven’s Ranch, we honor horses as sovereign beings, not teaching instruments.
We do not ask horses to perform tasks designed to create emotional breakthroughs. Instead, we allow space for authentic interaction to unfold naturally.
When humans slow down enough to meet the horse without expectation, something powerful often happens. Horses respond honestly to what they perceive. This response can bring awareness to patterns of tension, hesitation, leadership, clarity, or presence.
In this way, the horse becomes a catalyst for insight.
The transformation does not come from the horse doing something.
It comes from the human recognizing something within themselves.
This work rests on three guiding principles:
Presence before performance
Nothing needs to be accomplished for something meaningful to occur.
Respect for equine autonomy
Horses may choose engagement, distance, or rest.
Embodied awareness
Understanding arises through experience rather than instructions.

healing, learning and growth emerge when humans and horses meet in a relationship grounded in safety, presence, curiosity and mutual respect. The horse is a partner whose honesty invites us back to our authentic selves.

“Raven’s Ranch is a place to come exactly as you are. Not where you want to go or who you want to be or what you want to become. Leave your expectations at the fence and come back to your true nature.”
